My wife and I were really impressed with how clean the hotel was. Our room was one of the cleanest rooms we had ever stayed in. No worry about bed bugs in this hotel. The breakfast was good, and the hotel staff were good. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Though our reservation price was clear, the hotel wanted to charge us $10 more under the pretext of "the booking was made for 2 adults" which we refused, because we find that illegal and scam-like practices. You should let them know that that kind of practices does not look professional and honest. Please help us to keep them honest. Thank you, Jean
Room was very comfortable and had a flat screen tv.
Would have liked an ice machine on each floor (I was on the top floor and had to take the elevator down to the first floor).
The staff tried hard to please. The hotel did not
1. We are an elderly couple and my wifee cannot walk steps. A, the main entrance was 10 steps up from the street. Your liftovator from the street wass out of order for weeks which violates ada requirements.. This will be reportedd to the appropriate authoritites. 2. the doorway into the lobby swings in such a way as to nearly knock me off my feet and/or down the stairs. 3. The room was in the cellar and constantly chilly. 4. There was no accessible hot water in the bathroom. I was not able to shower for 3 days.
Very good location near jfk airport. Room were not very big, but was very nice.
Very clean, convenient if traveling to LIJ-Hofstra
Everything was good. Needed a location closer to NYC & the Jersey turnpike for our drive home to Florida from the East end of L.I.. Being "pet friendly" was very important. Good breakfast and served early (6:30 AM) was also helpful.
Only negative: Need much better instructions to use TV set and change channel. Could not .access "7"-"1" and other similar channels. Room needs a shelf below mirror and over sink for toilet articles.
My visits are date nights with my significant other. We spend quality time and catch up without interruption.
What I didnt like is that although I made reservations prior to check in, the room of choice was not available. My room was in the basement level and I was not very found of that as well. For furture reference, when someone books a room it should be assumed that their still interested and should be held/reserved unless a call is placed or online request made to cancel. For this reason I wont stay at Quality Inn in Floral. I drove for several miles and to find out that the requested room was not available was very disappointing. In addition there was no parking availabe in the lot. Once I arrived there were several patrons outside the hotel loitering, sitting on the steps, smoking cigarettes as though it was some kind of hangout. My suggestion would be to arrange that rooms reserved be just that, "reserved". That is the whole premise behind making reservations.
